Tips For Winning Time Machine 12/13/14

The December 12, 2014 Time Machine contest features the following question:

How many total points will be scored in the NCAA Football Playoffs (semis + finals)?

Football VictoryIf you have access to an actual time machine, you can of course simply travel to the future and retrieve the answer.  If not, here is some information to help you make an accurate prediction:

This year’s NCAA National Championship for college football’s division 1(FBS) teams consists of three games.

In the two semi-final games, #1 seed Alabama will play #4 seed Ohio State, and #2 seed Oregon will take on #3 seed Florida State.  Both of these games will be played on January 1st, 2015.

The two winners of the semi-final games will then play for the national championship on January 12th, 2015.

Your objective is to predict how many total points will be scored in all three games.  The following website provides predictions and more on these games:
